It is located just across the freeway by the City of Liberty Lake.  It is proposed to be constructed in phases over a 15 year period, and the new community will encompass over 600 acres and provide for nearly 3000 residential/multi-family living units with a variety of home styles and price ranges. Eventually a village retail center, a health club and professional offices are planned along the River corridor, and RiverCrossing is in the annexation process to the City of Liberty Lake. 

The RiverCrossing Community will include over 65 acres or landscaped common area and open space, including numerous neighborhood parks, and a bicycle and pedestrian trail system. When completed the community will include over five miles of trails which will connect the neighborhoods to schools, parks and shopping.

Postal Service - Mail delivery for River District is handled from the Greenacres Branch. Simply contact the United State Postal Service at 1-800-275-8777 and ask for the number for the Greenacres, WA. Branch. Contact the post office directly, give them your new address and they will assign you a mailbox and give you a key.

Refuse Service - This service is provided by Solid Waste Management of Spokane. Contact them at 924-9400 to order your service and find out which day is pickup

Avista Utilities- Please contact Avista at 1-800-227-9187 to change the gas and electricity over to your name.

Phone Service - Your builder has pre-wired your home and provided underground telephone cable to your home. To have your phone installed, contact Qwest communications at 838-6636 and they will arrange a time for installation. The cost of phone installation in your home will vary according to the type of service you will require.

Cable TV Service - If you would like to have cable in your new home, Comcast is the service provider for the River District Community. Their customer service number is 1-888-266-2278.

Homeowners' Association - Rockwood Property Management Company manages the River District Homeowners' Association. We are responsible for, among other things, maintenance of the entry, common areas and management of Covenant Violations. While we inspect the site daily, you may notice something we've missed, such as a blown out sprinkler head, etc. If so, please contact us at 509-893-0800 and we will attend to it as quickly as possible. Sewer and Water - Sewer service is provided by Spokane County and water service is provided by Consolidated Irrigation. There number is 924-3655
